As the AI glasses market charges toward the ten-million-unit scale in 2026, supply chain competition is intensifying. Consumer electronics manufacturing giants like Luxshare Precision are aggressively extending their capabilities into optics, complete-device R&D, and product definition. The competition has entered a phase of differentiated capability building, where optics, precision structures, complete-device R&D, and mass-production processes are becoming key leverage points for winning top-tier clients

Luxshare Precision has secured its position as a leading ODM player by winning contracts from major tech names. The company provides deep ODM (Original Design Manufacturing) R&D and manufacturing support for Quark AI Glasses, XREAL, and Alibaba's Qianwen AI Glasses. On the international front, Luxshare is the confirmed manufacturer for Apple's upcoming AI glasses, codenamed N50, and is reportedly developing OpenAI's first consumer AI hardware, expected to launch in late 2026 or early 2027. Additionally, the company is a key VR/AR headset manufacturer for Meta via its Vietnam facilities.

Beyond manufacturing, Luxshare is building proprietary technology. It is collaborating with Southeast University and Parallel Vision on PVG (Polarization Volume Grating) waveguide technology. This collaboration has produced the "Cloud Lark 2.0" AR glasses, featuring next-generation PVG waveguides that offer high optical efficiency and lower production costs. The company is also advancing projects like "high-performance AR smart industrial glasses" and "AI smart glasses precision structure manufacturing", positioning itself to capture a significant share of the growing AI eyewear market.
