On July 15, Solos officially unveiled the AirGo A6 at the third annual AI Smartglasses Symposium in Hong Kong, positioning it as one of the world's thinnest AI smart glasses. The AirGo A6 is a completely camera-free smart glasses designed for users who want to experience AI functionality but are concerned about privacy. The product weighs just 19 grams without lenses and supports optional prescription lenses. In terms of functionality, the AirGo A6 features hands-free assistant, wake-word activated voice assistant, voice memos, real-time translation, messaging, and calendar functions.

Simultaneously, Solos introduced the Privacy Kit for its camera-enabled glasses. The kit includes two core accessories: a replaceable transparent temple and a clip-on camera privacy shield. The transparent temple replaces the original heavier frame, while the clip-on privacy shield physically blocks the camera lens. The full privacy kit is priced at $79. Additionally, Solos' flagship AirGo V2 was announced for global availability, featuring a 16-megapixel camera supporting 2K 30FPS video recording, priced at $299.
Industry analysts note that as privacy controversies surrounding AI glasses continue to escalate, Solos has established a differentiated competitive advantage among privacy-sensitive consumer segments through its combination strategy of "camera-free AirGo A6 + physical Privacy Kit." This approach contrasts with Meta's software-based privacy patching and aligns with the camera-free product strategies of Even Realities and Thunderbird iO, signaling a growing divergence in the smart glasses industry between the "feature-focused" and "privacy-first" camps.
